Novica Collection Indonesia Green Glazed Ceramic Fish Teapot - A contemporary figural teapot from the Novica Collection, produced in Indonesia. The piece is modeled in the form of a fish, with the open mouth serving as the spout and the body resting on four fin-shaped feet. It features a removable lid on the back with a molded dorsal fin and an overhead bent bamboo handle secured to ceramic loops with cord bindings. The teapot is constructed of glazed stoneware or earthenware finished in a glossy monochromatic dark green glaze. Molded relief details include overlapping scales and facial features. The base retains a black square adhesive label printed with NOVICA COLLECTION INDONESIA. This item is accompanied by its original Novica and National Geographic fold-out paper tag and an embossed brown card cover. The interior of the tag includes serial number 175976. 9 inches in length and 8.5 inches in height to the top of the handle. The item is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs.
