Pair of Vintage Merry Mushroom Ceramic Canisters - A pair of graduated, lidded storage canisters from the Merry Mushroom pattern produced for Sears, Roebuck and Co. The earthenware canisters are shaped as mushrooms with cream-colored, vertically textured bodies. The front of each vessel features relief-molded decoration depicting a cluster of mushrooms and green leaves with hand-applied glazes in shades of orange, yellow, and brown. Larger canister: approximately 8.5 inches tall Smaller canister: approximately 6 inches tall. One canister displays a small chip on the upper interior rim. One lid shows a minor glaze nick or small chip on the outer edge. The unglazed foot rims show moderate shelf wear and some discoloration from age and use. No structural cracks or professional repairs are noted.
