Bohemian Style Optic-Ribbed Amber Glass Pitcher - A fine hand-blown art glass pitcher or ewer, likely produced in the late 19th to early 20th century. The vessel is executed in a rich honey-amber glass that transitions to a deeper burnt-sienna at the handle and base. It features a bulbous lower body with a narrow, elegantly tapered neck and a tri-lobed flared rim with a defined pouring spout. The exterior is decorated with a sophisticated optic-ribbed pattern; the ribs are twisted around the neck and combed downward to create a decorative feathered or fan-like motif across the shoulders. The piece includes a thick, applied translucent amber glass handle with a distinctive scrolled terminal where it joins the body. While unsigned, the form and technique are consistent with Bohemian glass houses such as Kralik or similar European makers of the period. Approximately 9.5 inches tall The pitcher is in very good vintage condition. The glass retains a high luster with no apparent chips, cracks, or repairs to the body, rim, or handle. Minor shelf wear and light scuffing are present on the underside of the base, consistent with age and use.
