Warren Telechron Co. Electric Tambour Mantel Clock Model M-1 - This is a vintage electric tambour mantel clock manufactured by the Warren Telechron Company of Ashland, Massachusetts. The dial is marked Telechron above the center and Warren Telechron Co. Ashland, Mass. U.S.A. at the bottom. The rear of the clock features a metal identification plate providing technical specifications, including the model M-1 motor, serial number 756896 A, and a list of patent dates ranging from 1918 to 1925. The back includes two manual adjustment knobs labeled Signal and Time. An integrated brown power cord is present at the base. Length: 17 inches Height: 7.25 inches The wood case exhibits moderate wear consistent with age, including surface scuffs and scratches. A significant wood chip is visible on the top rear edge of the curved section. There is notable greenish oxidation and corrosion around the rear Signal and Time adjustment knobs. The power cord appears aged and brittle. The movement is untested and the working condition is unknown.
