Victorian Style Tiered Oak & Gilded Composition Picture Frame - An ornate rectangular picture frame of tiered construction featuring an outer oak border with a deep cove profile. The intermediate band consists of gilded molded composition decorated with a continuous pattern of floral and leaf motifs. Exterior dimensions: 18 x 20 inches Interior sight size: 9.25 x 7.5 inches. The frame displays significant losses and flaking to the gilded composition ornamentation, particularly visible along the left and bottom edges. Prominent cracking is evident throughout the molded sections. The wooden surfaces show a natural aged patina, general wear, and scattered surface abrasions consistent with age.
