Ornate Gilt Neoclassical Style Picture Frame - This ornate rectangular picture frame is designed in the Neoclassical style, featuring a wide molding decorated with gilded composition scrolling acanthus and floral motifs. Whole frame measures: 23.5 x 19.5 inches. Interior (viewing) measures: 19.75 x 15.5 inches. The frame is in good vintage condition with wear consistent with age. There are scattered losses to the gilding revealing a red primer base underneath. Minor chipping is visible on the molded surfaces and at the corners. The reverse shows remnants of adhesive tape and light surface scuffing.
