Brazilwood Violin Bow Stamped JAPAN - This student-level violin bow is constructed with an octagonal wood stick, likely brazilwood, finished in a reddish-brown color. The stick is fitted with an ebony frog featuring a mother-of-pearl eye on each side and a mother-of-pearl slide. The bow is strung with natural horsehair. An impressed stamp reading JAPAN is located on the facet of the stick above the frog. Total Length: Approximately 28 inches. The bow is in fair to good condition, showing signs of age and regular use. There is visible wear and a small area of damage to the black ribbed wrap.
