Signed Studio Art Glass Vase - A hand-blown studio art glass vase. The vessel is composed of seafoam green glass with a flared, undulating handkerchief-style rim. The body is decorated with spiraling bands of dark teal glass that radiate from the base toward the opening. The rim is finished with a fine dark teal lip wrap. The underside of the base features an incised illegible signature. Height: 9.5 inches Width at rim: 10 inches. The vase is in overall good condition. There is a small dark carbon or ash inclusion trapped within the glass on the lower half of the body. The underside shows a rough snapped pontil mark characteristic of hand-blown glass. Light shelf wear and faint surface scratching are visible on the base consistent with age and use.
