1909 & 1973 Lincoln Pennies - Two US Lincoln cents struck in copper alloy. The first is a 1973-S Lincoln Memorial cent featuring the San Francisco mint mark. The second is a 1909 Lincoln Wheat cent from the inaugural year of the series. This specimen does not feature the V.D.B. initials on the reverse; the obverse mint mark is illegible due to surface conditions. Diameter: 19 mm Weight: 3.11 g. The 1973-S cent is uncirculated with original red luster and sharp design details. The 1909 cent is in good condition with heavy wear, dark environmental toning, and significant surface encrustation.
