Apel·les Fenosa Tramontane Color Lithograph 1972 - This color lithograph on cream-toned Arches paper, titled Tramontane, is by Spanish artist Apel·les Fenosa (1899–1988). The front of the work contains a printed Roman numeral I above the date 16-XI-68 in the lower right corner. The reverse of the sheet is inscribed in gold ink with the artist's name, Apel-les Fenosa, and the title, Tramontane. As indicated by the gallery label on the verso, this print was published in 1972 as part of the portfolio Souvenirs et Portraits d’artistes, printed in Paris by Mourlot and edited by Alain A.C. Mazo and Leon Amiel in an edition of 800. Image: 13 x 10 inches Frame: 21 x 17 inches The lithograph is in good condition with no visible signs of foxing, staining, or paper loss. The gilt-wood frame exhibits minor surface nicks and wear consistent with age. The black dust cover on the reverse has several tears, and the identification label shows some peeling at the edges.
