Knapp & Co., Little Rosebud, Chromolithograph - This Victorian-era chromolithograph, titled Little Rosebud, was produced by Knapp & Co. of New York City and published by Lautz Bros & Co. as an advertisement. 23.5 x 18 inches (framed) The print is in fair condition with significant signs of age and previous deterioration. There is widespread surface cracking and crazing across the entire printed area. Visible losses to the paper and pigment are present, most notably along the right vertical edge and in the lower-left corner of the image. The paper shows overall yellowing and toning. The frame has minor scuffs and wear to the gilded and painted surfaces consistent with age.
