19th-Century Italianate Landscape Engravings - This pair of matted and framed steel engravings features Italianate landscapes in a tondo format. The printing technique utilizes exceptionally fine line-work, stippling, and cross-hatching characteristic of mid-19th-century steel engraving. Frame: 10 x 10 inches. Both prints appear to be in excellent condition with crisp impressions and no visible signs of foxing, toning, or tears. The modern frames are in good overall condition with minor shelf wear and light scuffing to the black finish.
