Vintage Jeanne Bird on Wire Nest Brooch - This vintage costume jewelry brooch is a design by Jeanne. Three small white faux pearls representing eggs are nestled within the wire structure. The reverse of the brooch is fitted with a horizontal pin stem and a revolving safety C-clasp. A raised oval cartouche on the back is marked JEANNE . Width: Approximately 1.5 inches. The brooch is in good vintage condition. There is visible wear to the gold-tone finish with darkening on the bird's head, beak, and tail tip. The woven wire nest and faux pearls are intact and secure. The pin mechanism is in working order.
