Bidspirit auction | Grange, Harbor Scene Oil on

Grange, Harbor Scene Oil on Canvas - This oil on canvas depicts several tall-masted sailing vessels in a harbor at sunrise or sunset. The artist utilizes heavy impasto to create a highly textured surface, with the signature Grange located in the lower left corner and the name Passchier inscribed in pencil on the verso. The painting is presented in a wide, cream-colored wooden frame featuring a linen-covered liner. Framed: 35.5 x 27.75 inches. Craquelure is present in the areas of thickest paint application. Minor surface accumulation and light wear to the frame are consistent with age.
