Bone and Carnelian Hinged Bangle - This silver-tone hinged bangle features a central oval carnelian cabochon set within decorative repousse metalwork. The body of the bracelet is constructed from rectangular cream-colored bone segments inlaid in a mosaic pattern. It utilizes a pin-and-barrel clasp mechanism for closure and exhibits traditional scrolling foliate motifs on the metal terminals. Exterior diameter: 2.9 inches; Interior diameter: 2.25 inches; Width: 0.8 inches. Good vintage condition with moderate tarnish and oxidation to the metal components. Visible yellowing and adhesive residue are present at the junctions of the bone inlay segments. The closure pin is functional but shows minor bending.
