Art Nouveau Chicago Souvenir Mirror - This silver-plated base metal souvenir purse mirror features high-relief Art Nouveau floral motifs including roses and daisies with characteristic whiplash curves. The reverse is embossed with the word Chicago in a stylized blackletter font. The obverse houses a circular beveled mirror set within a simple metal frame. Length: 3.75 inches; Mirror head diameter: 2 inches. Fair antique condition. Significant wear to the silver plating reveals the underlying yellowish base metal, particularly on the relief decoration. The beveled mirror glass shows noticeable foxing and silvering loss throughout.
