Vendome Mid-Century Gilt Costume Demi-Parure - A Vendome mid-century demi-parure featuring an ornate brooch and matching clip-on earrings. The pieces are constructed from gold-tone filigree metal set with amber and topaz-colored glass rhinestones, clear rhinestones, and clusters of faux pearls. The maker mark Vendome appears on a raised oval cartouche on the brooch reverse and is stamped on the earring mechanisms. Brooch: 2.5 inches wide by 1.75 inches high Earrings: 1.25 inches diameter. Visible verdigris is present on the reverse of the brooch and on the earring mechanisms. Surface tarnish and minor nacre wear to the faux pearls are consistent with age.
