A Pair of English Transferware Plates - This pair includes a Royal Staffordshire Rural Scenes plate by A.J. Wilkinson Ltd and an Adams Husking plate based on a lithograph by N. Currier. The Wilkinson earthenware plate features a multicolored central landscape and a monochrome brown border decorated with vines and agricultural tools. The Adams plate depicts a communal harvest scene within a gray floral ground accented by large pink and yellow roses. Wilkinson diameter: 10 inches Adams diameter: 10.5 inches. The Wilkinson plate exhibits heavy all-over crazing and a small brown stain on the reverse. The Adams plate remains in good condition with minor surface wear and light crazing.
