Schering Cosmas & Damian Mortar Set - This promotional stoneware mortar and wooden pestle set was produced for the Schering Corporation. The footed mortar features relief decoration depicting Saints Cosmas and Damian, an Rx symbol, and the Latin phrase Secundum artem, finished in a matte brown glaze with a glossy celadon interior. The turned wooden pestle is branded with the Coricidin registered trademark, and the mortar base retains its original Schering logo cork pad. Height: 5 inches The stoneware mortar is in excellent condition without visible chips or cracks. The wooden pestle exhibits light, age-appropriate wear to the finish and wood grain.
