19th C. Knights of Pythias Ceremonial Sword - 19th Century Knights of Pythias Ceremonial Fraternal M. C. Lilley Co. Model 1872 Sword. Etched blade with scrollwork, swords, knights, etc. Etched with owner's name: Oscar Moore. Marked on blade, ”The M. C. Lilley & Co. Columbus. Ohio.” Gilt brass swept hilt guard with decorations and lion head pommel. White fish skin covered grip with twisted brass wire. Steel scabbard with decorative gilt brass mounts. Overall with scabbard: 37” long. Without scabbard: 35 1/2” long. Blade: 29 1/2” long. Condition- Good condition with some tarnish to brass and spine has some light surface rust. Scabbard has some surface rust and light wear to gilt. See photos.
