AMES Model 1840 Musician's Sword, Dated 1862. Stamped, ”Made by Ames MFG Co., Chicopee; U.S. J. H. 1862.” Blade: 28” long. Overall: 34 1/2” long. Condition- Leather scabbard is missing tip, wear, cracks, and an old repair. Blade has some oxidation, minor surface rust, handle has dark patina. See photos.
