First Edition. Hebrew title within architectural arch. Without Latin title and dedication, lacking portrait (as most all copies) ff. (8), 174, (2). Few light stains in places, title closely cropped. With its conceptions regarding the reincarnation of the Soul, Menasseh's Nishmath Chaim is of fundamental importance to Jewish theology; it is indeed his magnum opus.
