The present commentary is two-layered, containing: ”Shorashim” an exposition of the text of the Ikkarim; and ”Anafim” in which the author compares R. Albo’s views with that of other philosophers.  Stemming originally from Poland, the author spent the latter part of his life in Jerusalem.
