Elaborate leather-bound presentation Testimonial with embossed laurel motif, central initial letters with dates “1847-1897” The finely handwritten congratulatory text, with elaborate decorative elements, includes Stars-of-David, the crest of the town of Mülheim, allegorical standing Grecian lady, commercial buildings, followed by autograph signatures of the fourteen leaders of the banking firm. Signed by the artist lower right. Single page. Endpapers removed. Large folio, 15 x 19 inches. With ribbons and tassels. Mülheim an der Ruhr, 1897.
