Nebenzahl, pp. 138-139; Laor 876, illus. p. 132. [Amsterdam, 1695]. THE EARLIEST HEBREW MAP OF THE HOLY LAND. FINELY HAND-COLORED. The first, collectible map of the Holy Land with Hebrew lettering. This map traces the route of the Exodus and notes the locations of 41 encampments of the Israelites in the wilderness. The coloring on our example is very similar to those illustrated in both Nebenzahl and Laor.
