The Isaac Farhi copy (here entitled with the honorific “Sar VeTafsar.”) The Farhi family were a dynasty of both financiers and rabbinic scholars, long resident in Damascus. The author, R. Meir Danon (d. 1849), was the Rabbi of Sarajevo, Bosnia. He later settled in Jerusalem, where he served as a Dayan in the Beth Din of the Rishon LeZion, R. Chaim Avraham Gaguine.
