London-based Rabbi Joseph Shapotshnick (1882–1937) was a prolific, eccentric, and highly controversial rabbi and communal figure in London's East End during the inter-war years. He is perhaps best known for his constant friction with the established British Rabbinate and for publishing a vast array of idiosyncratic religious works.
