A QAJAR SILVER MOUNTED ENGRAVED AGATE BAZU BAND, 19TH CENTURY - This oval-shaped agate bazuband (amulet) is finely engraved with Arabic script, including verses from the Qur’an or protective invocations in elegant naskh script. The central panel is framed by a circular band with dense inscriptions and bordered by a scalloped silver mount.  L: 12.5cm  Agate: L: 6cm
