A RARE ROMAN GOLD PENDANT SET WITH A CENTRAL CAMEO, PEARLS, AND GEMSTONES, 1ST - 2ND CENTURY A.D - Featuring a central hardstone cameo carved in relief with a classical-style bust of a youthful figure. The cameo is set within a ring of small, graduated seed pearls. This central arrangement is mounted on a wide gold disk inset with various gemstones in individual collet settings, including four rectangular-cut green gemstones, three red cabochons, and a dark oval cabochon. The outer circumference is decorated with a beaded wire border. The pendant is surmounted by a cylindrical gold suspension bail flanked by two pearls.  Diameter: 5.5cm  Weight: 35g
