AN EGYPTIAN TURQUOISE FAIENCE SHABTI, 22ND DYNASTY LATE PERIOD 1800-600B.C. - An ancient Egyptian shabti figurine crafted from turquoise-blue glazed faience. The mummiform figure is depicted with arms crossed over the chest, holding agricultural implements rendered in low relief. It wears a traditional tripartite wig, and the reverse features a plain, vertical dorsal pillar extending from the base of the wig to the feet. The vibrant turquoise glaze is characteristic of Egyptian faience production during the Late Period. L: 12.5cm
