SCIENCE OF GEOMANCY, AL-TUSI, NASIR AL-DIN. AL-WAFI FI ISTIKHRAJ ILM AL-RAML AL-KHAFI, MANUSCRIPT, 1228 A.H. - A nineteenth-century Persian manuscript treatise on the science of geomancy (Raml), attributed in the text to the polymath Nasir al-Din Muhammad bin Muhammad al-Tusi (1201–1274 AD). This volume is a later transcription titled Al-Wafi fi Istikhraj Ilm al-Raml al-Khafi (The Complete Work on the Extraction of the Hidden Science of Geomancy). The text is executed in a professional Nastaliq script in black ink on cream-coloured paper, with headings, keywords, and decorative section markers rendered in red ink. The manuscript contains various technical illustrations, including divinatory grids, magic squares, and tables related to geomantic figures. Significant dates mentioned in the text include 1228 AH and 1238 AH, with a final date in the colophon of Shawwal 1248 AH (corresponding to February-March 1833 AD). The work is bound in hardcover boards with a mottled or marbled green and black paper covering. 20 by 15.5cm
