The Top Hat of the Rashag the Son-in-Law of the Admor the Rayatz - Rabbi Shemaryahu Gourarie (the Rashag) His family is attributed to the Maharal of Prague.  The eldest son-in-law of the Rebbe the Rashab; served as the executive branch of his father-in-law on diplomatic missions and assisting the Jews of Russia and the world.  The Rashag became a symbol of total Hitkashrut. Despite his status, he accepted the authority of the younger son-in-law. participated in every Hitva'adut and sat at the right hand of the Rebbe.   The Rebbe greatly appreciated and respected him; among others, he used to go with him to the Hakafor on Simchat Torah.  Confirmation by his son Sholom Ber Gourarie.
