Bidspirit auction | An envelope from the Hadassah

An envelope from the Hadassah Hospital, Mount Scopus, under siege, which passed in convoys, in the last days of the hospital there!!! It is very possible that this is the last envelope!!!!!!!!!! 2.5.1948, the hospital was evacuated from there at the beginning of May [following the attack on the Hadassah convoy on April 17] - With the stamp of the Jewish State Administration of the People, Dar's vehicle print is shifted to the right. Note:  It is theoretically possible that this is a letter sent from the ”Mission”, the English Mission house on Hanaviim Street, where the hospital moved at the beginning of May. In such a case, this is probably the first known letter sent from there, since only during those hours did the evacuation there begin!!! indeed: May 1 was a Saturday. The evacuation only started on May 2. They haven't had time to transfer almost anything yet and it already says ”internal department” Hadassah on the back? On May 2, there was almost nothing from the internal department there. Therefore, there is almost a hundred percent certainty that this is an envelope from Mount Scopus in the very last days. Condition: medium - good. See the picture. Extremely rare! Letters from Hadassah Hospital in Mount Scopus have been sold at very high prices in recent years. $6000 or more. The envelope in front of us is apparently the last one sent from there! עם בול מדינת היהודים מנהלת העם, הדפס רכב דאר מוזז ימינה הערה: תיאורטית יכולה יתכן שמדובר במכתב שנשלח מ”המסיון”, בית המסיון האנגלי ברחוב הנביאים, שלשם עבר בית החולים בתחילת מאי. במקרה כזה מדובר כנראה במכתב הראשון הידוע שנשלח משם, שכן רק באותן שעות התחיל הפינוי לשם!!! אמנם: 1 במאי היה שבת. הפינוי רק התחיל ב2 במאי. עוד לא הספיקו להעביר כמעט דבר וכבר כתוב מאחור ”מחלקה פנימית” הדסה? ב2 במאי לא היה כמעט דבר ממחלקה פנימית שם. לכן בודאות של כמעט מאה אחוז שמדובר במעטפה מהר הצופים בימים האחרונים ממש. מצב: בינוני – טוב. ראו בתמונה. נדיר מאוד! מכתבים מבית החולים הדסה בהר הצופים נמכרו בשנים האחרונות במחירים גבוהים מאוד. 6000$ ומעלה. המעטפה שלפנינו כפי הנראה האחרונה שנשלחה משם!
