A fascinating historical letter in the handwriting and signature of the leader of 'Hibat Zion', the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Mohliver zt'l, regarding his activities for the settlement of the Land of Israel - Adar, 1890- very rare! - Rarity:  letters from Rabbi Muhliber, especially those with Zionist content, are priceless, and almost none have been preserved The letter is addressed to Shaul Pinchas Rabinowitz At the beginning of his remarks, Rabbi Muhliver refers to the delegation of Zionists led by him, which left for Israel in the summer of that year. He then refers to the offer he received from Rabinovitz ”that I come to Warsaw on Passover for one day, because they will have a large and honorable gathering for the Ostav from the license of the Society for the settlement of the Holy Land, and when I am also in their gathering it will be of great benefit” - Rabbi Muhliver answers to this: ”I also think Yes, he answered that the journey outside my home on Passover is very heavy, because from the day I became a rabbi, which is more than forty years, I have not eaten any food on Passover outside my home! Here is a unique glimpse into the extent of the observance of the mitzvot of the tzaddik genius Rabbi Muhliber, one of the leaders of the Zion Lovers movement. His connection to the Zionist movement stemmed from the sacred, from the wonderful strictness of observing the mitzvot. Rabbi Muhliver continues and writes: ”If the size of the mitzvah to do for the benefit of the settlement from the Holy Land, which for us is equal to all the mitzvahs together, as explained in my book, will be rejected because of the above customs, in any case I will not be able to stay in the hostel all year long, [but] only in the house A respectable man whom I have known for a long time and who fears God”, and here he offers the name of a God-fearing Jew who can stay with him for a day. ”And I will also hope that a great good will grow out of this for the whole holy cause of Yishuv AHK”. ”Whatever I can do with it I will without a doubt.” Later in his words, he brings up the idea of holding a meeting in Vilna between Rabinovitz and the sage Rabbi Shmuel Yosef Pin. He signs: ”Shmuel Baharv Moharal Maheliver”. After signing it, Rabbi Muhliver continued to write on another matter: Rabbi Dr. Yosef Shmuel Bloch, a journalist and delegate to the Austrian Parliament, was then invited to the House of Representatives in Vienna, in order to repel the anti-Semitic plot of the persecutor of the Jews Prof. Roehling from Prague, who wrote a book proving from the Talmud that the blood plot is correctly. Rabbi Muhliver writes here: ”I want to send a letter of thanks from the bottom of my heart to Rabbi H. H. Blach in Vienna, whom I knew face to face, for his wonderful and precious words that he spoke in the House of Representatives...” and asks for his address to send the letter. This important letter was printed in the book 'Writings for the Love of Zion and the Return of Eretz Yisrael' by A. Droyanov, but without the sections that were underlined by Rabbi Muhliver, including: the matter of the expedition to Eretz Yisrael, the details of the possible hostel for him, the proposal to meet with Rashi Pin and the section on Rabbi Blach. A few fingerprint stains (of Rabbi Mohliver?). נדירות: מכתבים מהרב מוהליבר, במיוחד כאלה עם תוכן ציוני, הנם יקרי המציאות, וכמעט שלא השתמרו. המכתב ממוען אל שאול פנחס רבינוביץ (שפ”ר). בתחילת דבריו מתייחס הרב מוהליבר לעניין המשלחת של חובבי ציון בראשותו, שיצאה בקיץ של אותה שנה לארץ ישראל. לאחר מכן מתייחס להצעה שקיבל מאת שפ”ר ”שאבוא לוורשא בחול המועד פסח ליום אחד, כי יהיה אצלם אספה גדולה ונכבדה לקראת האוסטאוו מרשיון החברה ליישוב אה”ק, וכאשר אהיה גם אנכי באספתם יהיה לתועלת גדולה” – הרב מוהליבר עונה על כך: ”גם אנכי משער כן, אמנם יען כי הנסיעה חוץ לביתי בחג הפסח כבדה מאוד, כי מיום היותי לרב, זה יותר מארבעים שנה, לא אכלתי בפסח חוץ לביתי אף אכילת עראי”! יש כאן הצצה מיוחדת במינה לגודל ההקפדה במצוות של הגאון הצדיק הרב מוהליבר, מראשי תנועת חובבי ציון. חיבורו לתנועה הציונית נבע מתוך הקודש, מתוך ההקפדה המופלאה על קיום המצוות. ממשיך הרב מוהליבר וכותב: ”אם גודל המצווה לעשות לטובת היישוב מאה”ק, אשר שקול אצלנו ככל המצוות יחד, כמבואר בספרי, יהיה נדחה מפני מנהגי הנ”ל, על כל פנים לא אוכל להתאכסן בבית האכסניא של כל השנה, [אלא] רק בבית איש נכבד אשר ידעתיו לוותיק וירא ה'”, וכאן הוא מציע שם של יהודי ירא שמים שאפשר להתאכסן אצלו ליום אחד. ”וגם אנכי אקווה כי תצמח מזה טובה גדולה לכלל העניין הקדוש יישוב אה”ק”. ”כל מה שיהיה ביכולתי לעשות בזה אעשה בלי ספק”. בהמשך דבריו מעלה רעיון לקיים פגישה בווילנה בין שפ”ר ובין החכם רש”י פין. הוא חותם: ”שמואל בהרב מוהר”ל מאהליבער”. לאחר חתימתו הוסיף הרב מוהליבר לכתוב בעניין נוסף: הרב ד”ר יוסף שמואל בלוך, עתונאי וציר בפרלמנט האוסטרי, הוזמן אז לבית הנבחרים בווינה, כדי להדוף את העלילה האנטישמית של צורר היהודים פרופ' רוהלינג מפראג, אשר כתב ספר להוכיח מתוך התלמוד שעלילת הדם היא נכונה. הרב מוהליבר כותב כאן: ”רוצה אני לשלוח מכתב תודה ממעמקי לבבי להרב הדר' ה' בלאך בווינא,
