An original, unique photograph of the Western Wall with Australian soldiers after the occupation, March 1918 - apparently a photograph by one of them - extremely rare - The photograph shows, according to the uniforms and hats, soldiers from the Australian Expeditionary Force who took part in the occupation of the country. According to the English inscription on the back, since: ”The Wailing Wall of the Jews”, the writer is not Jewish. It is very possible that this is one of the Australian soldiers or some other Christian person who happened to be there.
