Large 8vo. xii, 948 עמודים. כריכת בד ירוקה מקורית מעוטרת בזהב. קנינגהם גייקי (1824–1906) היה כומר פרסביטריאני סקוטי ומחבר פורה של ספרי מקרא ופרשנות. הספר, שיצא לראשונה בשנת 1887, מהווה סקר מקיף ומאויר של ארץ ישראל ואתריה המקראיים. כולל למעלה מארבע מאות איורים מקוריים מעשה ידי ה. א. הרפר. הכריכה המקורית מעוצבת בסגנון עשיר עם עיטורי זהב מתוחכמים. מהדורת ”קוויבר” — מהדורה מיוחדת של הוצאת קאסל. בסוף הכרך מודפסת מודעה של כתב העת The Quiver לחודש נובמבר, המכריזה על כתבה מיוחדת בנושא ביקור הקיסר הגרמני בארץ הקודש — אירוע שהתרחש בנובמבר 1898 — מה שמאפשר לתארך את הדפסת העותק לאחר אותה שנה.
