Calligraphy,by Jin Cheng - Jincheng (1878 – September 6, 1926), courtesy name Gongbei, also known as Gongbei, original name Shaocheng, and pseudonym Beilou, Junzhang, and Ouhu, was born in Wuxing County, Zhejiang Province. He was skilled in landscape, flower, and bird painting, and was also proficient in seal carving, cursive script, and inscription. In addition, he had a deep understanding of classical literature. Jincheng authored works such as Oulü Shicao (Notes of Oulü), Beilou Lunhua (Beilou’s Thoughts on Painting), and Huaxue Jiangyi (Lectures on Painting Theory).
