Landscape,by Pu Yi - Pu Yi (1893–1966), also known by the courtesy names Xuezai and Xuezhai, and the pseudonym Songfeng Zhu Ren, was a Manchu from the Zhenglan Banner. He was the great-grandson of the Daoguang Emperor, the grandson of Prince Dunqin (Yizhi), and the eldest son of the Beile Zaiying. He inherited the title of the Fushan Beizi Duke at a young age and was a cousin of the last emperor, Pu Yi, through their shared great-grandfather. Pu Yi was well-versed in literature, history, and poetry from an early age. He was a man of many talents, particularly passionate about calligraphy and painting. He was known for his landscapes, flowers, birds, figures, and horses, with a particular skill in painting orchids. His landscape paintings demonstrated refined brushwork, and his depictions of feathers and animals, influenced by Lang Shining, were marked by a clear, elegant style.
