White Rabbit and Radish,by Wang Xue Tao and Liu Jiyou - Wang Xuetao (1903–1982) was a renowned modern Chinese flower-and-bird painter. His works covered a wide range of subjects, with exquisite compositions and vivid representations that were both lively and elegant, full of charm in brushwork. In 1979, his flower-and-bird volume became the first art book in the Rongbaozhai series. In 1973, he created the famous ”Two-tone Peony Painting” (originally titled ”Thousand Beauties in Various Postures”) for Rongbaozhai's new storefront screen. Liu Jiu'ou (1918–1983) was a distinguished animal and figure painter in modern Chinese art history, recognized for his achievements in both fields.
