Apricot Flowers,by Wu Changshuo - Wu Changshuo (1844 - 1927), originally named Jun and also known as Junqing, styled Changshuo. He also signed his name as Cangshi or Cangshi (there are different interpretations of the characters). He had numerous other names, with Cangshuo, Laocang and Laofou being among the more common ones. He was a native of Zhangwu Village, Xiaofeng County, Zhejiang Province (now in Anji County, Huzhou City). He was a famous traditional Chinese painter, calligrapher and seal engraver during the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China period. He was a representative figure of the ”Later Hai School” and the first president of the Xiling Seal Art Society in Hangzhou.
