3rd–4th Century: Buddhist Reliquary Stupa - Carved from stone, this stupa comprises three detachable sections—base, hemispherical dome, and spire—ingeniously constructed for assembly and separation. The bluish-grey stone is dense and firm, bearing scattered traces of original gilding; fading yet luminous, gold glints against the stone, suffused with ancient grace. The tiered, waisted base is rounded, substantial, and steady; the hemispherical dome is full and smoothly curved, hollow within to enshrine sacred relics, its form strictly canonical. Above rises a five-tiered spire tapering elegantly to a jewel finial, perfectly proportioned and balanced. Embodying the concise, naturalistic aesthetic of Gandhara art, this miniaturized stupa merges solemn dignity with refined beauty—an early Buddhist sacred votive vessel.
