Obverse: Features the bare- headed portrait of King Frederick Augustus III of Saxony facing right. The legend reads: ”FRIEDRICH AUGUST KOENIG V. SACHSEN” with the mintmark ”E” at the base of the neck. Reverse: Displays the Imperial Eagle of the German Empire with a crowned shield on its breast.
