German Empire Bavaria 3 Mark 1911-D. PCGS MS 63 - KM-998; Regent Luitpold (1886-1912); Silver (.900), 16.66 g, 33 mm; 90th Birthday of Prince Regent Luitpold; A lovely mint state example; UNC. A majestic commemorative issue struck at the Munich Mint. The obverse features the dignified, bearded portrait of Prince Regent Luitpold facing right. The reverse displays the standard German Imperial Eagle, crowned and shielded, symbolizing Bavaria's place within the Empire. The edge is inscribed with the motto ”GOTT MIT UNS” (God with us). It is a choice, high-grade survivor of the late Imperial era, offering excellent eye appeal and historical depth.
