A very well-preserved specimen from the short two-year reign of King George. Obverse: Features the bare-headed portrait of King George I of Saxony facing right. The legend reads: ”GEORG KOENIG VON SACHSEN” with the mintmark ”E” located below the neck. Reverse: Displays the Imperial Eagle of the German Empire with a crowned shield on its breast. The inscription reads: ”DEUTSCHES REICH 1903” above and the denomination ”10 MARK” below. Boasts a warm, attractive golden luster with original surfaces. XF
