Sefer HaGedarim Michlal Yofi, Berlin, 1798. Only edition. Copy that belonged to the gaon Rabbi Baruch Ettelsohn, author of Tikvat Yisrael. Lengthy glosses.
Sefer HaGedarim - Michlal Yofi is a type of lexicon, an elucidation of difficult words that appear in works on philosophy, medicine and mussar that were authored in the period of the Rishonim. Entries are in alphabetical order, by Rabbi Menachem (Bonafus) Parapinian. The internal part of the sefer was printed for the first time in Salonika, 1567. This edition was brought to print by the maskil Yitzchak Stanov, who added many entries and extensive commentary on the sefer.
Signature featured on the title page "The youth Baruch Ettelsohn of Shaki" (city in Lithuania). Lengthy glosses on philosophical topics appear along the book's leaves [approximately 150 lines].
