Ateret Chachamim, First Edition. Approbation from the Author of Divrei Chayim of Sanz

"My teacher in the revealed [Torah] is the Baruch Ta'am, and in the concealed [Torah], the Rebbe of Ropshitz ... and in Shamayim, the two are equal" (The Divrei Chaim of Sanz)

Sefer Ateret Chachamim - two sefarim - the first includes responsa on the four parts of Shulchan Aruch; the second is Talmudic novellae, authored by the gaon Rabbi Baruch Teomim Frankel ztzllh"h, author of Baruch Ta'am and av beit din and reish metivta in Leipnik. Józefów, 1866. First edition.

Approbation following the title page from the author's great son-in-law, the Admo"r Rabbi Chaim Halberstam, author of Divrei Chayim of Sanz. Given that the sefer was published posthumously, it was the Divrei Chaim who chose the title the Ateret Chachamim, as he relates in his introduction to his approbation, "I believe this precious composition should be called Ateret Chachamim." Later on in his important approbation, the Divrei Chaim of Sanz relates, "I saw many responsa in my late father-in-law's home, but few remain, because the vast majority were stolen." Needless to say, it is well-known that the Divrei Chaim was the one who edited and prepared his father's previous sefer for print - Baruch Ta'am.
