KNOW HOPE - Figures connected by a wire on the roof of a Tel Aviv building. High-quality and special printing that commemorates the art collection of Dobi Schiff Numbered 27/100 40/30 cm Signed with Shuki Kook stamp Know Hope is the pen name of Israeli-American post-graffiti artist Adam Yekutieli. He began exhibiting his works on the streets of Tel Aviv in 2005, including in the various squares in the city, in captions on the walls of neglected buildings and in public gardens. His pseudonyms are a play on words between homophones: the English phrase ”No hope” means ”no hope” and the verb in English ”to know” means ”to know” or ”to know”. In his works, the artist uses techniques that combine murals, prints, cardboard adhesives and even mobiles. Although at the beginning he exhibited only on the city streets and without the formal consent of the authorities, today ”Know Hope” also exhibits his work in legitimate institutions such as the Biennale in Herzliya, the ”Pacha Kocha” festival in Tel Aviv, and even abroad (including London, In Norway, Los Angeles and Manhattan). The artist is currently represented by Gordon Gallery.
