Kadishman has been a great success in the world, including winning awards in the fields of sculpture and painting. Menashe Kadishman devoted much of his time to painting and his most prominent feature is the hundreds of portraits of sheep he created. Along with the portraits of the sheep he painted, Kadishman dealt with other motifs related to the experience of birth and death and the subject of binding in Bible stories. In 1995, Kadishman was chosen as the winner of the Israel Prize for Sculpture. Menashe Kadishman's works are in important museums and many collections in Israel and around the world.
