Renana Tremchi, an Israeli artist, lives and works in Jerusalem.

Her initial training in drawing and painting began at the age of ten at the Israel Museum.
As a teenager, she attended the Jerusalem High School of the Arts.
After her military service, she began studying in France with the French group "Cite de la Creation".
She lived and worked in France, and studied the profession of mural.
After participating in monumental murals in Israel and France, she began studying art at Beit Berl College, as well as various courses at the Bezalel Academy of Art.
Realizing that her artistic love lies in the classical painting tradition and masterpieces of the past, she joined the artist class at Jerusalem Studio School - Israel Hirschberg's painting and drawing workshop.

The studies were based on drawing and drawing from looking at the model only, in the conceptual and technical methods of the Old Masters, from Europe in the Renaissance to America of the end of the 19th century.
As part of her studies at JSS, she studied at the International School of Painting, Drawing and Sculpture in Umbria, Italy, where she recently experienced the masterpieces of Renaissance and Baroque painters as well as prolific landscape paintings from observation throughout Italy.
Even after a formal journey of art studies, she continues on her personal path of research and deepening in the world of painting in all its endless shades.

Renana Tremchi creates Jewish art in a unique way, more than the attempt to replicate reality she tries to capture her essence on the spiritual level, the characters in her paintings live and communicate with the viewer and he feels as if he is watching from the sidelines what is happening in their pulsating lives.
Renna's technical mastery of oil paints combined with her skilled drawing abilities allow her to independently represent what she sees or creates.
This is evident in the rich colors, the varied brushstrokes, sometimes very expressive and sometimes made up of transparent layers of oil paints that create a complex lattice of shades.
Through these layers the light enters and is reflected backwards, penetrating into the subject a truly illuminated subject. We can feel the movement and life under the folds of the clothes and the spark of the animal that exists even in the inanimate details.

Her paintings are included in private collections in Israel and abroad
