Zoya Cherkassky - Chassidi Child, 2023. Oil/gouache and pastel on framed paper  15/10 cm (frame 27/22 cm) Signed back Zoya Cherkassky (1976), Tel Aviv. Senior artist. She has participated in many solo and group exhibitions in museums and galleries in Israel and around the world. She has won many awards, including the chosen artist award from the Foundation for Cultural Excellence (2004), the Steinman Young Sculptor Award from the Herzliya Museum of Art (1999) and the Young Artist Award from the Ministry of Science, Culture and Sports (1999),   in 2020 she won the Sandberg Award for Israeli Art. Her works are in leading collections such as - the Tel Aviv Museum Collection, the Israel Jerusalem Museum Collection, the New York Jewish Museum Collection, the Vienna Jewish Museum Collection and the Mouma Museum Collection. Graduated from the Art Midrash, Beit Barel College.
